  Irresponsible and unreliable is the only way I can describe this business. We hired them to install oak treads on our spiral staircase and stain them to match our hardwood floor. They gave us an estimate and told us it would take about a month. We agreed with their terms and gave them the deposit that they asked for to start the job. After we gave them the money we started getting pushed around and ignored. Finally after 2.5 months of calling and requesting to finish the job, they said the treads are ready and brought them over. The treads were the WRONG size and WRONG color, and the worst part was the guy wouldn't even take responsibility for the mess that he'd made. We'd had such a horrible experience with them that, although we could take them to court and sue them for our deposit, we decided that it wasn't worth having to deal with them any more. So we chose to take a huge loss, forget about the money that we'd paid them already, and start over with someone else. Warning to others: If you hire dimensions remodeling, be sure to specify every detail, including precise date by which you expect the job done -- otherwise they take your deposit and put you on the back burner and you'll be at their mercy.
